The worst airport?

Apparently, Sydney Airport has been named this country's worst airport, based on a broad comparison between service, fees and congestion.
ACCC slams price gouging at Sydney Airport
Having flown internationally out of only 4 international airports in Australia (Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne) - so far, yes Sydney had been the worst.
Infrastructure-wise Sydney is not bad. It has parking, public transport, restaurants and bars and aboundant of airport lounges. Cairns, classified an international airport thanks to Jetstar services to Tokyo, is on the contrary tiny and uncomfortable, however has cheaper parking.
Parking indeed is extremely expensive at Sydney Airport - but in my personal opinion - for a good reason. Sydney airport is right bang in the middle of the city (unlike other city's airports that are on the fringe or further from the city) and hence has little room to grow. There is a train link between the city and the airport, and although it's more expensive than the normal trains, we, frequent travellers have to remind ourselves that it is so in every other major city around the world. Hong Kong's airport link and Kuala Lumpur's airport train link all cost around AUS$20 to get into the city. After all, it's still cheaper than parking at the airport.
The congestion and the lack of service of the airport - well, yes it's pretty bad in Sydney. It's a busy airport, and hence I believe that's why there are talks of creating another international airport for Sydney for the low cost carriers. Unfortunately selfishly we all want it, yet we don't want it near us. So all the governments plans went down the drain because everyone want them to build on other people's suburbs.
However looks like it's not just the passengers who are unhappy. Airlines apparently haven't been happy either, according to the article.
Have you got any bad experience at an airport? What do you think?
