Surely this will never work.
An Italian company has released a new design of 'standing' seats, which they are hoping to get the budget airlines on board in attempt to have more seats on a plane which could potentially bring down the airfare a lot more at the same time.
Personally, I'd rather pay up to $500 more on an airfare that does not use one of these seats.
The airline claims that these seats, shaped like a saddle, will be perfectly comfortable for flights up to four hours long. However the photos here look like no one looks even close to being comfortable.

Do these guys look comfortable to you? Not only does it look awkward, the position makes the side view look rather suss!
