I think so. And I do have some ideas for the up-coming competition run by Tourism Australia on their 'There is nothing like Australia' campaign.
Nothing like Australia
Following the apparently failure of 'Where the bloody hell are ya?' campaign, the idea this time is for real Aussies (and not the buttered up, air brushed celebrities) to show why Australia is special and why, there is no place like it.
Tourism Australia looks beyond 'controversial campaign' - ABC news
We (yes, all of us!) are encouraged to submit a photo of our favourite Australian holiday with a caption starting with "There is nothing like...."
There is nothing like Australia because Australia has lots of natural colours: We are green (forests), we are blue (oceans), we are red (earth), we are yellow (dessert). There is a bit of everything nature has to offer that is unique to this country you've got to be in it to see it.
There is nothing like Australia because there is a bit of every part of the world somewhere in Australia. You can get authentic almost anything.
And let's just find examples of these in your photo albums, and you have a competition entry.
So what's in it for you? Well, let's just say among the prizes, there is a major $25,000 holiday to be won for the best submission!
I wouldn't mind that at all!
