Bed warming service? Not for me thanks!

Do hotels really think this is necessary? A human bed warming service is now being offered by Holiday Inn for guests in cold cold London.
If they had said they would put an electric something to heat up the bed before we sleep, then it would have sounded ok. However, this service has a real human touch. Someone actually gets into your bed to warm it up for you before you retire.
I just don't know. I am imagining some cheeky employee sweating and farting onto the sheets of my hotel bed. Not at all appealing.
But then again, each to their own I guess. Perhaps this trend will catch on.
