I was checking out a webpage on Bali (http://www.baliguide.com) and I stumbled upon something which grabbed my attention within the next second I read it.
“Getting Married in Bali.” Wait a minute! Everyone knew of Bali as a travel destination, a getaway week to peaceful mind and relaxation or even as a romantic retreat for a second honeymoon. But being advertised about getting married in Bali? Hmmmm…Interesting…Because the only thing that crossed my mind after reading that icon was >>>>>> Las Vegas <<<<<<<
The only difference would be that ‘all couples who marry here must declare a religion, which means getting married in Bali for followers of Agnosticism and Atheism is not possible as both these are not recognized’ (http://www.baliguide.com). Vegas then I suppose? Or maybe not? I am soooo not sure about that alright!
Well, leaving the marriage issues behind, let us take a look at Bali, Indonesia. A friend of mine had visited Bali last year and returned after his one week long holidays looking very satisfied: because he claims to have visited the entire island of Bali (almost entire, at least). This somehow seems possible to me as Bali is one of the smaller island found in Indonesia. Approximately a week or so should be enough for visitors to check out this culturally satiated island.
Talking about culture, it is definitely one of the most famous reasons why people/tourist head to Bali: to experience their differing unique culture. There are many temples found all around the island of Bali which then portrays its richness in culture and heritage. An example would be ‘the famous Besakih Temple on the slopes of holy Mount Agung’ (http://www.baliguide.com).
If culture is somehow not your cup of tea, then as an alternative, you might want to swap it with a cup of coffee: so go surfing!...Bali is famous for displaying its stretch of beaches just like how it is in Gold Coast (Queensland) Australia. And if you think that you belong to the daredevil category, you’d know what exactly I am talking about…yeehaaw!!!
Oh, there is also a huge possibility that most visitors may not belong in either one category described above. And if you are one of them, then I reckon that maybe you should first energise yourself and give yourself a treat of foot massage to be prepared to head out for a non-stop shopping spree that will tempt you to shop till you drop!
Once that comes to an end, (end??? if ever that happens…*wink) I reckon you should head to the nearest spa to once again treat or pamper yourself with a sensual body massage that will refresh both your aching body and your tired soul.
Only then you’ll reenergise for shopping the next day…Experience speaks louder than action. Enough said.
